Although it appears plain, this fabric is woven with threads of varying thickness (slub yarn) and then pattern-dyed using a technique called "discharge printing."

Discharge printing is a process where the color is removed from a pattern area of a pre-dyed fabric to create a white pattern, or re-dyed with a different color to create the pattern, allowing for natural color variations to be enjoyed.

The fabric has a rustic texture, feels comfortable in the hand, and blends easily into daily life.
