The beautiful "Donzu Series" with lustrous fabric

The deeply textured fabric created by satin weave is called "donzu" (damask), characterized by its rich luster and smooth feel.Donzu was introduced to Japan from China during the Kamakura period, and some examples are preserved as "Meibutsu-gire" (celebrated textiles). This fabric is sometimes used for obis, mounting materials, tea ceremony utensils, and shifuku (protective bags for tea utensils). This is a series of crafts made from fabric that utilizes the characteristics of this donzu.

Elegant and suitable for formal occasions

The fabric used in the Donzu series is smooth and pleasant to the touch, like satin, and its beautiful luster, which shines differently depending on the angle, gives it a glamorous and luxurious feel.
The chic colors are sophisticated and elegant, making it a stylish match for formal occasions.
Its fashionable finish allows it to blend with both Japanese and Western aesthetics, making it suitable for daily use.

What is a Goshuin? What is a Goshuincho?

A Goshuin is a seal given as proof when visiting a shrine or temple. It typically includes the name of the shrine or temple, the name of the enshrined deity or Buddha, and the date of the visit, written in ink.

Accordion-style binding prevents ink bleed-through

The inner paper uses high-quality "hosho" paper and is designed in an accordion-style, double-folded book format to prevent ink from bleeding through.
Since there is no bleed-through, both sides can be used.

"Large size" for easy pasting of pre-written Goshuin

This size is almost the same as that used for young adult manga (B6 size).
You can paste pre-written Goshuin regardless of their size, so you don't have to differentiate between Goshuincho for direct writing and those for pre-written Goshuin. Furthermore, its large size allows for more dynamic Goshuin.

Go on a pilgrimage to shrines and temples with your Goshuincho

Goshuin designs vary by shrine and temple, so collecting them as souvenirs during your travels can create wonderful memories.
For example, they can be a memento or souvenir from school trips, sightseeing, or girls' trips. Or, for pilgrimages to shrines and temples, power spots, the Seven Lucky Gods, sacred sites, and more. Receiving a Goshuin once a year during your New Year's visit is also a great annual tradition.
